What is a Claude Certified Architect?

A Claude Certified Architect is a practitioner certified by Anthropic — the makers of Claude — in designing AI agent systems: agent architecture and orchestration, tool design and MCP integration, and production deployment patterns.

It's one of the first vendor certifications for agentic AI — systems that do work, not just answer questions. That matters because the industry is full of self-described AI experts; a certification from the platform's maker replaces claims with verification.

The certification covers the exact skills that decide whether an AI project ships: how agents are structured and orchestrated, how AI connects safely to business tools (the Model Context Protocol), and how systems behave in production rather than in demos.

How to verify one

Ask to see the credential — legitimate holders can show a verifiable certificate issued by Anthropic. Futonix will show ours on any call, alongside our Google Cloud Professional Architect, Google Machine Learning Engineer, and NVIDIA NCP-AII certifications.

Why small businesses should care

Certification isn't about impressive walls — it's insurance. When you hire certified architects, the design patterns applied to your business are the ones the platform's maker teaches and tests, not guesses. That's the difference between "we tried AI" and AI that quietly runs your busywork for less than a part-time hire.
